The lake has been emptied in 1991 for achieving multiple repair works on the dam located in Esch-sur-Sûre. On the picture besides you can easily distinct the old river-bed called the Sûre.

During that time all the dive spots in the lake were visible and revealed. So we tried to document these highlights photographically as accurate as possible in order to propose you a complet guide of the most exciting spots in the lake.
