The vertical drop-off of Wallhausen is probably one the most spectacular dives in the Lake Constance. And just the right one for a warm-up dive on this cold day.
Pulling on the equipment, walking a few hundred meters along a forest trail and here we are - a nice beach with some shallow water in front before the verical drop-off leads down to the darkness of the endless depths of the lake.
The dive is just amazing, banks of fishes swimming below, the beam of the powerful torches penetrating the mysterious dark green coloured water. Almost 50m deep, we decide not to go further down, instead we take some pictures while going up slowly before we reach the harbour to leave the water again.
Although this dive site is only recommended for experienced divers, it is worth a try, even if you do a shallow dive.

The weather today didn't allowed us diving on the Jura wreck, too much wind, too much waves. Luckily, the Lake Constance offers some more interesting divesites.
